The condition of our economy presents many challenges for the next session of our State Legislature. As an accountant by training and a small business owner, I understand finances, economics, and balanced budgets. I am fully prepared to deal with the hard choices facing our State.
The future of Minnesota requires a vision for a quality of life that encompasses the protection of our natural resources while allowing for their responsible use; making education fair and affordable to our children while holding schools accountable for the resources received and the outcomes delivered; controlling health care costs while allowing consumer choice; and creating economic opportunities that will help our rural communities to thrive.
